So, who are we and what do we mean by FRIENDLY?
Well our project has
three concepts of ''friendly''
1.
Being eco-friendly, protecting the environment
2.
Meeting friendly people in friendly places
3.
Premoting your friendly hobbies and interests
We
are the Friendly Moscow 2.0 project!
Volunteers
from all over the world: Russia, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece,
Holland, Poland, Turkey and even Brazil. Our aim is to help people
who either travel alone, maybe don`t know the alternative places to
visit than the main touristic attractions in Russia, or perhaps don't
know the language.
We
want to make the city more transparent - we realize that it`s not
easy for a tourist to find non-touristic places which are quite
welcoming. We want to hunt down the alternative friendly places in
which you can spend your time, giving you tips and help along the
way.
You
can like us on www.facebook.com/FriendlyMoscow,
follow us on

and follow us on instagram= Friendly Moscow, we will be updating the
feeds with exciting exotic and interesting places throughout Moscow
city centre.
Red
Square
The
first impression you have when you arrive in Moscow is that people
around you are not so willing to help. It must be the environment
filled with stress, the noise of the speakers. We don't know but this
will make our search for a friendly Moscow even more adventurous and
rewarding. Many must be the places where you can meet new people
while sipping some soft drinks or concentrated fruit juices. Many
must be the places which are under going renovation and becoming more
environmentally friendly. The goal of modern architecture is a zero
impact on the environment. Is Moscow up to this aim? Our first stop
couldn't be anywhere but The Red Square.
And
if we all want to see a friendly Moscow we first have to be friendly
ourselves, right? So our first mission was to invite some people to
join us for a “friendly picture”. We had lots of fun and heard
from a dutch girl that it was the most friendly moment she had in
Moscow so far. Great start, no?
