Vorobievi Gory (Sparrow Hills)

Vorobievi Gory is a suggestive place, it’s the name of a hill along the right bank of Moskva River.

This is one of the highest point in Moscow; from here you can have  a nice view of the city!

You can see for example the Luzhniki Stadium, the biggest sports Stadium in Moscow, the World Trade Center of Moscow, and the metro station of Vorobievi Gory, that is really particular, being placed on a bridge on the river; the platform is more long than the others, and with glassed walls.

On the hill is situated the Moscow State University, one of the most important university in Russia.

With a friend we decided to go there, starting from Gorky Park. Now, there are a lot of ways to get to Vorobievi Gory, and this one is quite long, and can be a bit tiring too! Sure you can enjoy the walk in the Park, but after the Park the road is all up, and straight.

Finally, when you arrive, you can relax and admire the view!
