GULAG museum

For a better understanding of one of the darkest periods in the history of Russia you can`t  miss the museum of Gulag. Make a tour into these terrible political prisons of the Soviet Union through pictures, illustrations, paintings, sculptures, movies and detailed reproduction of what a  forced labour camp looked like - and maybe felt.

On the third Sunday of the month you can visit the museum for free. There are also temporary historical and art exhibitions and other events going on. You can see more pictures from the place in another entry of the blog.
